Happy 8th Birthday!!

It’s hard to believe it’s been 8 years since you were born. I feel like every year there has been something big that has happened in your life and while sometimes I’d much rather you have boring I’m coming to realize that with you everything is far from boring and you don’t seem rattled. Your 8th year has been a tad insane… it started off with a move to a “new to us” house… then starting 2nd grade and went pretty “normal” until covid happened and it meant you being home all the time and finishing your 2nd grade year out with me . It meant giving up dance and girl scouts and getting to be in the school musical and missing all of your friends and teachers… along with all the other things that were planned at school. But through it all you have been so positive and eager with what happens next. Kenzie you are such a bright light and I am so honored to have a front row seat at watching you grow into the person God has created you to be. You are kind and loving (most days ;)), you are fierce, independent… you put others first and care so much about how other people are doing and how you can help them. You ask a billion questions a day because you want to know everything about everything!!! You are obsessed with reading… love to lead and sing and play and dance and have one very big imagination and gosh it’s so fun getting to be your mom!! I love you so much my sweet girl and I am so excited to see what God does in your life this coming year!!! Happy 8th Birthday!!!
